This is just what I was looking for - a review of schools from the teaching and the learning angle and now some *** has gone and hacked it and blown it away.

Maybe we can get the people who originally submitted the reviews to re-submit them again (if they still have them). I hope so 'cos it would be realy helpful to have these all in one place.

Perhaps we could have a learning chinese course review section too?

This is a BAD company.
8 ex-teachers can verify that they were treated extremely badly by this company.
The Mayor of the City agrees that this company operates illegally.

One present teacher was asked (they are very reluctant to pay salaries) how much do you NEED(to survive) this month then told we will pay you that plus 100 Rmb extra as a bonus!!!!

Dear readers,
To stay objective as possible I will NOT give you my opinion but facts.
Hauxing (PFLTS) is situated in Liaoning province Anshan, Lishan district. The apartments for all the foreign teachers are bad. School is paying for it and it shows their greed.
If you have a request for improvement it takes a long time (2/3 weeks) even the smallest things, and the improvements are hardly improvements. I wish I could add photo's to this message.
No descent desk to do my lesson...

Be careful about jobs here
If it looks too good to be true,with this school it is. Main campus is located in an area forbidden to foreigners and you cannot leave the campus,except by the school buses. The students here are the lowest test scores of their group in China. Students end up here,for no other college will want them. Teaching these students is very difficult and frustrating.
If you get sick, there is no substitute for you, so you must make up all missed classes.School...

Agency. English Me, in Shenzhen is owned by a Taiwanese man named Alex. Managers are Tim and Kim, two guys.

This agency will rip you off once you do anything at all that they didn't they didn't give you the okay to do.

On my Grande Toure Spring Festival I visited my old school in Shijiazhuang and said hi to some of the old teachers and my old waiban.

Shijiazhuang is still a enormously big dirty city, but it is only 2.5 hours by train away from Beijing, is located near the walled town of Zhengding, is in the middle of Hebei, has suddenly had an influx of Africans and expensive foreign yummies, and is in a place where you can get to most of China by train pretty easily.

This is in Jinagsu Prov. right on the border with Shanghai. It's in a really small town called TaiCang. It's a nice place to work if you like children. I teach grades 1-6.
